Have you ever wondered who is Googling you or who is Googling me? Well, Ziggs.com is a brand new networking site that basically helps answer those questions. Matter of fact, it takes social networking and spying on the internet to another level.
Basically, if you are a member of social networking sites such as Myspace, Facebook, Friendster, and hundreds of those other sites, well, if someone ever Googles you and ends up on one of your pages then Ziggs.com sends you an e-mail letting you know exactly that.
To get into a little more details, Ziggs.com sends you an e-mail on who, what and when that person Googled you and I heard they supply a few additional information pieces as well.
If you ask me, that’s pretty creepy and cool at the same time. I mean, wouldn’t you be interested on those two or three people googling you, or googling me? Eh, I’d be interested but I’m not sure if this is exactly for me.
Ziggs.com is almost like Linkedin.com in the sense that it’s for marketing yourself, finding and posting jobs, and get into the professional world. The main thing I’m not too fond of is the fact that after the first free month, they start charging you $4.95/month after that.
See, there’s always a catch, huh? But if you’re that interested in it, you can always just check it out for the first month and if it’s not for you, just cancel your account. Of course, if you like it, five dollars a month isn’t too bad either.
So, who is Googling you? Or better yet, who is Googling me?
Update:
Here is a confirmation from Julia Bradley from Ziggs.com
Hi All, Just a quick clarification. Ziggs is free for its first month and for any number of months thereafter. There is no membership fee. Ziggs does not charge $4.95 per month.
The website states that Ziggs offers a premium service for a top-listing in Google for your name and that is $4.95/month. But having a Ziggs Profile and receiving email alerts each time someone views your Ziggs Profile is free. Thanks for your interest in Ziggs.
