It looks like there were items that belonged to Steve Fossett found by another hiker around Mammoth Lakes as of late.

For those who have no idea who Steve Fossett is, he was an adventurer who went missing somewhat over a year ago when he borrowed a plane and vanished, never to be heard from again.

Well, rumors have it that certain items of his were found. These items include Steve Fossett’s FAA license, some money as well as a jacket. I heard different stories that included additional items found but who really knows.

Anyways, Steve Fossett was the adventurer in which had thousands of people combining their power and time to look for him. People used various forms of technology and internet that included Google Earth, search aerial as well as satellite imagery to get a better estimate on if his plane crashed.

I guess after some intensive searches and nothing to be found, they declared him dead in February 2008.

On the other hand, there are people saying Steve Fossett faked death but I doubt that is true.
