Talk of the ‘Chris Brown – Rihanna fiasco’ continues as we get closer to the pop singer’s court date scheduled for March 5th. We’ve got even more updates coming your way. Chris Brown was arrested Sunday morning by the LA police for allegedly assaulting girlfriend and R&B singer Rihanna . Now sources are saying the relationship between the two young starts is far from perfect. If he did indeed beat Rihanna it may not have been the first time. Brown, 19, turned himself in, but the District Attorney’s office pushed the case back to the police on Wednesday asking for more evidence.

There are mixed emotions about the supposed fight that took place. Some believe that Rihanna wasn’t completely innocent and some think Brown could be abusive. Neither Rihanna or Chris Brown have made public statements regarding what has happened, and their spokespeople have not responded to requests for comments.

Some sources have said that the fight which lead to domestic violence occurred because Rihanna gave Chris Brown herpes. This is certainly not definite, but Brown would have eventually found out about the STD as symptoms appeared. It’s still no excuse to beat a woman.

According to ABC News, Chris Brown has changed his Facebook relationship status to ‘Single’.
Thursday, the young R&B singer posted an update on his private Facebook page which read: “You’ll begin to see her true colors. Believe it!” according to the celebrity gossip Web site Mediatakeout.com.

One example of their rocky relationship comes when Brown was flirting with British singer Leona Lewis, and Rihanna flew into a rage. According to the British paper the Daily Mirror, Brown was speaking to Lewis at a pre-Grammy party in LA hours before the late-night attack. While the conversation was innocent, it “set Rihanna off,” according to an anonymous source quoted by the paper.

Brown has had endorsement deal suspended and some radio stations (in Cleveland, Pittsburgh & Indianapolis) have even pulled his songs since the altercation! Rihanna had to cancel her concert for the “Disturbia” tour in Malaysia. Many are wondering what her next move will be.
