Chris Brown faces two criminal charges after his court appearance on Thursday. One count on assault and the other of criminal threats. His attorney, Mark Geragos, must be really good though because lawyers have agreed to delay the case. Geragos was granted a continuance until April 6. Rihanna’s lawyer, Los Angeles criminal attorney Donald Etra, was present at court and also agreed to the time waiver.

Brown reportedly showed up to the LA Court dressed in a grey three-piece suit. He looked so handsome although he’s just not that innocent after beating up girlfriend Robyn F.
Rihanna, 21, was allegedly attacked by Brown on February 8 on a Los Angeles street the night before the two were scheduled to perform at the Grammys.

There were a couple of interesting points during the court date. Once Rihanna’s lawyer asked Brown how he was doing and shook his hand. At the end of the proceedings Brown was reminded by the judge that he could not “annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone.” When the judge asked if there was any “No Contact” order, Rihanna’s lawyer said “Ms. Fenty does not request that type of order.”

So obviously there is a sense of…well, something still going on between the two pop singers. I have heard that they’re back together. I’ve heard that Rihanna says she still loves him. I have also heard that the two were at P. Diddy’s beach house in Miami getting some quiet time together and working things out in private. According to one source Chris Brown communicated with Rihanna on her 21st birthday. So it might be safe to say that they’re trying to play it safe before going full blown with this case.

One thing that was heard on Brown’s microphone Thursday, after the proceedings, was him saying to his attorney “I’m just a little confused on the terms.” Since his arrest Brown had been free on $50,000 bail.
