It looks like Maryland won’t be having too many McMansion homes anymore because I heard there are some regulations that will be taking place that will prevent it from happening. Of course, the regulations could have been passed already for McMansion homes, but here are some of the reasons why Alexandria City and other Maryland cities have stopped it.
There are various amendments being passed and a large part of it is due to the super-sized houses are far too big. Not only that but they are too tall as well.
Additional amendments would include such things as front setbacks, the garages, tree coverage and a few others.
We will see what will happen with the McMansion’s and how the super-sized houses will be affected in the near future. Please stay tuned!
