For all of my blogger template, I use my accounts on GooglePages to host all the images needed. That is because I trust on Google reputation. They will never delete my images at least for a hundred years.
Unfortunately, an unexpected problem is coming! They have set a limit of the bandwith. It means, If a template have so many blogger use it on their blog, they will all use the same bandwith of my GooglePages account. and once my bandwith exceeded it’s limit, all the images will be unaccessible.
This affect to your blog look. All images on your template will be gone, and replaced by the background color.
To fix it, I recommend all of to you to use your own image host to host all the image. How to do that? here is the steps.
1. Go to your Blogger HTML Template Editor.
2. Find this line.

2.1. Then open that file http://images.jackbook.googlepages.com/summerfruit_style.css with your Internet Browser.
2.2. Copy all the content (It is a css style code)
2.3. paste inside your on your Template. <b:skin> </b:skin>
**You can paste the code right after <b:skin>
2.4 delete this line on your template

note:
- The bolded text means it may be vary. for some templates, it might be jackbook3.googlepages.com/style.css or jackbook2.googlepages.com/style.css
- This is your template style. that is as the same as all line inside the <b:skin> </b:skin>
So if you can’t find that line above, then you don’t need to do this step #2.
3. Now, find all the images line.
* if you use firefox, you can do CTRL+F and type googlepages
there you will find lines like this
background: #FFFFFF url(http://images.jackbook.googlepages.com/summerfruit_bg_footer.gif);
There, on the example above, http://images.jackbook.googlepages.com/summerfruit_bg_footer.gif is on of your image files you need to move to your own host.
You can use your own GooglePages account, or another Free Image Hosting Services Sites out there. there are many of them you can use. such as imageshack.us or etc. (Please tell us what you use on the comment below, under this post, so the other users can learn from you :thanks)
You can read the example of how to use Imageshack.us on the below section.
4. Save your template. refresh your blog and done.
Using ImagesHack.us
Now, here is the example of how to use Imageshack.us to host your images. Please pay an attention, it is imageshack dot us. not imageshack dot com.
1. Go to Imageshack.us
2. For example I will use http://images.jackbook.googlepages.com/summerfruit_bg_footer.gif
So on the ImagesHack.us site, you will see 3 options on the top right. it is
Upload – Images – Url – Video
Choose the Url (this is only in ImagesHack, they have a really good service on this)
then paste the old image url to the text box under it.
http://images.jackbook.googlepages.com/summerfruit_bg_footer.gif
then click Host It button on the bottom.
3. After click on the Host It button, ImagesHack will upload the images to their host, and redirect you to a new window of the new images links.
There on the new window, you will see Direct Link To Image next to the most bottom text box.
Copy the link, and for my example, i copy this link
http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/7793/summerfruitbgfootertf4.gif
and
4. Replace the old Image Url on your template with this new Image Url.
for my example it would be like this
Before :
background: #FFFFFF url(http://images.jackbook.googlepages.com/summerfruit_bg_footer.gif);
After :
background: #FFFFFF url(http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/7793/summerfruitbgfootertf4.gif);
Repeat to do that for all the Images Url inside your template.
end.
