Did you know that Google has actually made such a long process time to finally use their new favicon? After 8.5 years exists with the Big G icon, now they changed to be a Small G. (should i write it small g now? )

“The design process we went through was rigorous and interesting, so we thought we would share more of it here. We tried in total more than 300 permutations. It was much harder than we thought at first.” said Marissa Mayer, The Google Official Blog.

300 icons? and they picked that ugly one? I think the C6 is beautiful. What do you think guys? check the image table of all the rejected fav icons below. If I was Google, I would go with that C6 icon. What about you?
