So we can now put Google adsense on Wordpress.Com?

Just check this blog on wordpress.com, StuffWhitePeopleLike.Wordpress.Com, If you go inside each post there, you will see Google Adsense Ads inside the content. This is interesting since the last time I knew that Wordpress.Com Team never let us me put adsense not any ads there on my wordpress.com blog.
Just curious, is it really that we can now put ads on our Wordpress.com blog? If so, then I predict there would be a huge migration by bloggers from blogspot.com to wordpress.com. What do you think guys? Do you have a wordpress.com blog? Can you place any ads on it?

Darren Rowse just told me that Wordpress.Com allovw VIP hosting blog to put ads on their blog, thanks for the info Darren.

Nopes its not featured as of yet… You can’t put ads on wordpress.com. They don’t allow change in code for free. Its a paid upgrade , I think its 10$ a year or so… So blogger is still better in this respect.

yeah you need to pay wordpress.com for it.
It’s cheaper to get your own hosting and domain rather than get the VIP account from wordpress.com. I think the only advantage is that WordPress.com servers can handle heavy traffic well whereas cheap webhost will kick you out if you overload their webservers with heavy traffic.
