Today, I supposedly write a post about Optimizing an Alternate Ads URL as it is my promise on the previous post. but it’s ok, I’ll talk about it later on the next post.
Now, I have a little or something annoying in my mind after reading a post here Inside AdSense: It’s all Greek to your unpublished pages.
Actually, I have never thing that it would be a nice topic to have
If you use wordpress on your own hosting, you will find that WordPress has a preview page below the WYSIWYG Editor. Yes, that is the preview of your unpublished posts. The Preview won’t appear after you saved the posts into draft.
The Preview would be as really same as the original it would appear on the site, it is even the ads will appear on the preview page.
The problem is, because it is showing on the preview page, sometime you see the ads will be so less targeted to your topic. in fact, sometime it shows on a foreign language.
oops.. I remember one thing, It is not only in WordPress! Actually Blogger has also have it. You can see it under Fonts and Color Menu on the Control Panel. There you can see the preview of your blog. but of course all in blogger if you can see it, it means that it must be already published. [this is the minus of blogger, hopefully someday they’ll give us a scheduled posts feature like wordpress)
Ok, back to the main topic. Why it shows weirdly? less targeted ads or even on a foreign language? the official adsense blog says that it is normal! So you don’t need to worry about it. Crawler needs time to access your pages before their system can display targeted ads on your pages. but once again, it is normal. what you need to do is just let it happens as usually. Don’t think about it, after the Crawler access your new pages, soon you will see relevance ads immediately.
So.. Just don’t think and worry about it, just do your job, and let Google Adsense System work the rest
