Hi Jack, It is good knowing that we can use Adlogger to protect our sites. but, I have one problem here, My blog is hosted on a free hosting services. Can Adlogger still protect it?
Yes, of course. We need a paid hosting site only to host The Adlogger file and database. But we still can place the code anywhere we like. So these steps to Use Adlogger to Protect Adsense below are applicable to either paid or free hosting blog or site.
How To Use Adlogger to Protect Our Adsense?
1. Go and login to your Adlogger Administrator Panel.
eg. http://www.yourdomain.com/adlogger/
2. To let it more organized, create channel for each site you want to protect.
- Click on Manage -> Channel.
ps: remember, change the attributes of file config_settings.php to be writable (666). you can CHMOD it through your ftp program. (as I mentioned before on my previous post, how to handle fraud click, you can use free ftp program like filezilla, or either use an online ftp like this or this.) Your changes won’t be saved if you dont CHMOD that file first.
- In the Add a Channel form, fill the channel name and channel description (optional), then click Add Channel. If you have all your channels ready, next step
3. Go to Adlogger Setup
There will be 3 code generators to help you setup AdLogger on your website. Adlogger recommends you to put all 3 code in order to have properly log clicks. But you can just get one of them to your site actually.
you can know the functions of each code generator as you see on the descriptions below (I Paste them from the original descriptions)
I recommend you to use The Tracking Code one to protect your site. Why don’t we use Wrapping Code instead? I will explain to you on the next post, but relax, it is powerful enough to help you protect your adsense from fraud click. so the next step,
5. Click on The Tracking Code Sub menu,
- In the Javascript Tracking Code form, choose your channel you’ve been prepared before on step 2.
- Or you can even just click on The Generate Button to have your code generated on the right text box.
6. Now you have the code, what’s next?
Put The Generated Code in to your html code, just immediately before the tag.
Congratulation, Your Setup has done now.
But.. Doest it mean that your Adsense is now free of Fraud Click? Unfortunately No! With this all set up, you will only receive alert from adlogger if there is a fraud click. It doesn’t Automatically block The Clickers to click your Ads.
So.. how to get it automatically? how to set The Adlogger to automatically Protect us when Fraud Click is happening? next posts
