Yes! There will be a PS3 Update 2.43! Did that statement get your attention? I’m sure it did. There will be a Playstation 3 (PS3) Update 2.43 but only for the PS3 owners from Japan. Yes folks! The 2.43 Firmware update will only be available to Japan PS3 console owners.

If you live outside Japan, expect that you will get NO PS3 UPDATE 2.43.

Update: I’ve said earlier that only Japan PS3 owners can avail the ps3 update 2.43. I was wrong, if you live outside Japan, you can install the update manually. That is, if you really want to opt in to this update. This is what you need to do: you just need to go to “System Update” under the XMB’s Settings icon and start installing. Nothing significant will happen but you just really did PS3 UPDATE Firmware 2.43.

Again, if you are outside Japan, there will be no need for you to do the PS3 Firmware UPDATE 2.43.
