Even I have written the tips and the widgets there about Recent Comments and Recent Posts on Blogger. but I think I need to still write this tip, so we can learn that there are many alternative ways to do this rite?

So here it is, we are going to use your own blogger feed to create this tip.

1. Go to your Page Element

Screenshot of Page Elements

2. Click Add Element on your sidebar (or anywhere you want to put the widget)

Screenshot of Adding Widget / Page Element into Blogger

3. Click on the Add to Blog button on the Feed Option

4. Now a the new popup window, paste this code on the widget content (on the content area)

Now get this HTML code, and paste into the widget content area above;

for Recent Comments on Blogger

http://YourBlogNameHere.blogspot.com/feeds/comments/default

if you use Custom Domain

http://www.YourDomainNameHere.com/feeds/comments/default

for Recent Posts on Blogger

http://YourDomainNameHere.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default

if you use Custom Domain

http://www.YourDomainNameHere.com/feeds/posts/default

Of course you must know that you have to change the YourDomainNameHere with your own domain / sub-domain name.

Or if you use FeedBurner for both your Blog Comments and Blog Posts, of course you can use your FeedBurner Url like this

http://feeds.feedburner.com/YourFeedBurnerAccount

5. Click Continue, then you can change the Title of your Recent Posts Lists.

6. Save Changes. Save Template if necessary, Refresh your blog and Done.

easy huh? well even it is not the easiest way as this below, which you can just click on the below buttons. ;)

Very nice tip.

Can we also add the comment-author link plus which post the comment is directed to? like this one…

On Nov 09 Ronaldo commented on famous sunset at manila bay: “I really love “Manila Bay Sunset” - I really miss it, I still remember when we go to Mall of Asia…”

Hey jack, just want to ask, I’m currently trying to place a small icon beside the start of a comment and repeats for every single one. I have tried using the document.images function in the javascript file, but it doesn’t seem to work. Could you give lend me a hand? Thanks in advance!!

I tried doing a Recent Posts addition done differently that I found on the Web and it didn’t work even though I was doing exactly what they said. I found your Site and thought I’d try your directions. Works perfectly! Many thanks.
