First I was a little shocking. Wow.. what d.. and naturally I click on that link and brought me to a paypal site. Weird, the URL is not paypal.com, even the pages look exactly the same as paypal pages, but the URL is http://hotel.sklept.pl/blabla
Luckily then I re-check again my gmail inbox, and look at the detail of my email header. And WALAH!! it’s just a stupid phishing mail!
yea I smile because I’m glad that I am not trapped by that mail.
That mail was sent by someone who want to steal my paypal password. The original mail from paypal should be something like this
look at the screenshot below

See? on the top right of email, you will see a show detail link. click that and the mail header will expand and show you the detail of the senders.
The original mail from paypal should mailed by paypal.com
Now look at the fake mail below

I did received that type of email not too long ago. Usually I wrote back to PayPal’s admin and they are kind enough to show me what to do and show me on how to differentiate a fake PayPal email and genuine PayPal. You should email PayPal, Jack. I’m sure you can learn a lot from them.
Take care.
Greetings and lots of love from Malaysia.
I haven’t received any, and hopefully never. Thank’s for the warning, Jack.
Btw, since you were talking about PayPal and you are from Indonesia, I have a question to ask.
I’m from Indonesia as well, and I have a problem about withdrawing money from PayPal account. Is it possible for us in Indonesia to withdraw money using Visa Electon debit/atm card instead of credit card?
oh Dunn,
i didn’t know that you are from indonesia.
i use HSBC Visa Credit Card here. And the only way to withdraw -as far as i know- is just by sending it to our credit card. and later, we can just anytime withdraw it on any Bank’s ATM machine. well, i have no idea if there is another way other then that. thanks
As I know, the credit card provider will charge us the fee for drawing money from their credit card.
Now I know what to do.
Anyway, thank’s for your response.
oh!I haven’t received any but have heard about that.Whenever you receive a mail saying that it is from paypal you go and visit http://www.paypal.com website, you will have a copy of the mail there.Don’t open or click any of those mails and links becoz many hackers trying to steal paypal passwords .
