Removing the Comment Moderation on JackBook.Com
By Jacky Supit • Dec 1st, 2007 • Category: blogging tips - blogging tricksActually I am not really sure about this, but so many people compliant because I set the comment moderation on, so here we go. From now, I will set the comment moderation off so you can see your comments appears immediately.
Why did I set the Comment Moderation On?
Everyday, I received about 40 to 50 new comments on this blog. Most of them are comments for the old posts, some are thankful comments, some are questions, and even some are angry comments 
Thankful because they think I have written such a useful post for them, Questions are usually about how to install a blogger template, why my date format is not shown up, can I install comment form under post on their blogger template, etc. and Some angry comments because they seen all of their images gone from their blog replaced by a white blank spaces. If only they all read the instruction guide carefully, it shouldn’t be happened.
Anyway, with that many comments everyday, and most of them are on the old posts, it makes me so difficult to read all of those comments. By sending them to the moderation page, that help me make it easier to read all those new comments and reply it.
As now I have turned off the comment moderation, please be more patient if I didn’t reply to your comments (yet). But I will try my best to read and reply all of your comments anyway, it’s just probably not as fast as when I set the moderation on.

You can always set new comments to be sent to your e-mail, right? That’s what I do so I see new comments without having to search for the old posts.
so you mean i have to receive about 40 - 50 notifications mail per day?
believe me, i have been there before, and i can’t stand it
I use a filter-label combination for it, so it doesn’t flood the inbox.

You’re lucky since you received so many thankful comments. Unlike me I receive many spam comments
You set the comments off. That means after I press submit the comments will be displayed immediately. Yeppie. I hope you receive more comments this way and less spam.
I really think this is a gamble Jack, you would get more comments but it would risk having spam comments all the same. Lets just wait and see. If spam problems happen you could always turn comment moderation back on right?
