It’s time to say good by to Text-Link-Ads.

yes, since Google Webmaster Central release that they now provide a simpler way for their users to report a paid links, this means Text Link Ads is dying!

Google Webmaster Central through their official blog say that paid links can mess their search engine result index. Seems They are begging to all Text Links Ads Customer to please use your paid links to get traffics. not to get a search engine credit to increase your pagerank.

But, we must admit that most people who buy services from Text Link Ads are really expecting the backlink for their pagerank right?

Just check out John Chow’s blog. you can see that there are many links on his sidebar that provided by the Text Links Ads. How many of you clicks that links? one? two? none? well, i believe the main purpose they bought the links is not the traffic, but the backlinks for their better search engine position.

Even Google offering us to modify the links so make it has no SE credit, this will still make all Text Link Ads not happy i’m sure. I don’t know if John Chow will remove his paid links or will let those links stay there without modifying them.

How will Google determine whether it’s paid or not?

Since Google do all the crawl by the machine or their Google Robot / Google Bot. It’s confusing, how they can determine whether it is paid or not.

What if you see your blog someday suddenly disappear from google search engine result?
