Sorry to say dudes, but I have got to tell you this, If you’re not being careful with what you do on Darren Rowse Group Writing Project, It will get you get banned immediately.
What are you saying Jack? Banned? Banned from what? Adsense?
No man, I’m not talking about Google Adsense, I’m talking about duplicate content here. You see, on my post John Chow is not like you Darren!!, there are 7 (when I write this posts, there are 7) linkbacks (Trackbacks) from other blogs/sites. First I was curious about why did they linkback to me, what did they write there? After I clicked on the linkback link, BANG!! I was so shocked, that 7 blogs all have a same post. And you know it sure, it is about Darren Rowse Group Writing Project Participant Lists. All of them I believe just copied those list from Darren’s blog and then simply pasted on their blogs. hm…
Evil’s Trick for Traffic and Backlink Wishing
By doing this, they may also think that they will get a free backlinks from the trackbacks they’ve sent. but unfortunately, all trackbacks links are usually have an NoFollow Attribute on their link. With this NoFollow attribute, the link will have no Search Engine Value, so it just wasted their time. but, even it’s not valuable for Search Engine, I must admitted that what’re they doing can bring a lot of traffics to their post. I must say to you that what’re they doing is a really-really bad dirty tricks. Sure, by doing that, all posts in the lists will got pinged right? Then the blog’s owners will find that they got a linkback or trackback from someone, and then be curious about their writing. Just same like me, they will follow the link, and if they’re lucky, all readers not only the blog’s owner will also click on the link. And by that, their traffic will jump up rite? that’s another evil trick.
WOW, that’s cool Jack, I think I’m doing that same thing to get more traffic for my blog.
Hey wait.. I’m not finished yet. If you think it has no sequences, you wrong! Just take a look at their posts (Oh My Goat!! I didn’t realize that I always told you to look at their posts, that will bring them a lot of more traffic.) don’t Look at their post, All they have same posts. Yeah.. you’ve mentioned that before, what’s wrong about it? Man.. same posts mean that they have duplicate contents. so? what’s about it? Urgh..
Duplicate Contents = Get Banned = Supplemental Result = Disappear From Search Engine Result Page = Loose Traffic = Loose Money.
If you have duplicate contents on your site, and Google Bot knows it [and Google will know it!] your site will be banned from Google, And if this happens, your site will disappears from Google Search Engine Result Page.
You will can’t even find your name there. Even if you try to type “yourdomainname” on Google, the result would be your nightmare. You will find your result only if you use the advanced search, and use only return results from the site or domain: yourdomain.com.
And if you see the result is yours, you will see that your page is a Supplemental Result.
Want to know more about Supplemental Result? Want to know more about your Nightmare? read this, or if you want me to explain it to you, next posts!
For now, I think it’s enough to say that If Traffic is important to you, don’t do a copy-paste postTM.
I’m off.
