Hi Jack,I hope I’m not disturbing your peace of mind with this trivial email, but I really need your thought. I got several questions that has been playing in my mind lately. Ok, here goes:

1. If I were to start a new blog with my brand new domain name, which is better? To start again from scratch or convert my present blog with new domain name?

2. If I take the second choice, how about my feed subscribers? Can I redirect them to the new domain name?

3. How about PayPerPost and the rest, can I still post a review for them if;

4. I got a problem with my Flag-ship blog, My Journey To Recovery. Since yesterday I cannot get access/see my blog. I can login, but I cannot see it on my PC. Any idea?

I asked some friends to see my blog on their PC and they told me they can see it. In fact they can leave a comments on it. Is it because of the new Anti-Virus that I just installed. My using ESET Smart Security 3.0.566.0

5. One other question, how do I save XML Document using Notepad? All I can see is *txt, but no xml. Under what category is xml file? ANSI? UTF8? Or what?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Greetings and lots of love from Malaysia.

This questions were sent by Arahman, thanks dude. oh and Greetings and lots of love from Indonesia too.

OK, here are the answers

1. For me, I would prefer to convert the old blog to the new domain. The previous domain is a blogspot subdomain wasn’t it?

I think it’s better to let the old posts there.

2. You always can redirect your feed subscribers to the new domain via blogger feed redirect feature.

just follow this steps:

SETTINGS -> SITE FEED

Now add your feed burner url on this field “Post Feed Redirect URL”

But I really recommend you to provide your readers with your feedburner feed, because on feedburner, you can just easily modify your feed url anytime you want it with still the same feedburner URL.

3. Payperpost? I don’t know. but they ask your blog to at least 3 months old correct? So I guess you need to wait for 3 months. IMW

4. Actually I have been there too.

Try to clear all of your blogger and google cookies from your browser. Hope it works.

5. Well I have replaced my Notepad with Notepad++ actually.

But I guess, you can just

5.1. click the save as under FILE menu.

5.2. then on the file type, choose All type (*)

5.3 then on the filename, just name it as anything with a .xml extention. e.g: anything.xml

hope it helps. thanks

Btw, did you read my trackback post, Plagiarism?

Gee, I’m sorry Jack. I brought nothing for you except greetings and lots of love from Malaysia.

hi Arahman
yes, i have read it. it’s just that I really don’t want to discuss about it :) i always just let them do what they want to do.
they want to copy my articles? find, just do it.
they want to remove my copyright from my template? fine, just do it.
i still can handle it :) i don’t want to give them a “big” exposure. so.. just leave it :)

*there is no such thing a bad press. all bad press turn to good effects.

Thank you for dropping over, WIellyam. Hope you found something interesting there. Please come back as often as you like to. Maybe on one of those days we can have coffee together, or tea perhaps?

To answer your question, I guess I’ve installed quite a few Microsoft Hotfixes.

Anyway, thanks again for the head-up.

Greetings and lots of love from Malaysia.
