Realistically, if you don’t show or tell them what is wrong, she/he will not learn anything. On his/her part, she/he will keep on thinking what she/he is doing is right - they will keep on thinking they’ve done nothing wrong.
As you said, they don’t even read your post. If nothing is said or done, will they know anything?
