What is the best search engine on the internet? well, to make it fair, let’s just ask to all the search engines them self.

1. Google says: Dogpile

2. Yahoo says: Dogpile (actually, Dogpile in on the second place, but because the first is not Search Engine, so let’s consider it is Dogpile : )

3. Ask.com says : Ask.com (yeah rite : )

4. Live Search says: Search.com is the best. ( And I even have never heard about it before : ) so let’s find out who is the best according to Search.com

5. Search.com says: Dogpile

6. Altavista says: Goobony (and what the heck is it? : )

Goobony is a black version of Google search engine. They said that they created the black version of google because they want to keep our eyes save from regular monitor radiation. good thinking, and smart way to collect money. if only they had a good publication

and so let’s not forget, how about Dogpile it self?

7. Dogpile says: Dogpile. Yeah since they are pile results from google, yahoo, live search, ask.com and other search engine.

And now the results,

1. Dogpile: 4 (google, yahoo, search.com and dogpile)

2. Search.Com: 1 (live search)

3. Ask.com: 1 (Ask.com)

4. Goobony: 1 (Altavista)

So the winner is… Dogpile.

What we can learn from this?

On each test, I use a keyword “The best search engine”. and all the biggest search engine (Google and Yahoo) give us Dogpile on the first result.

Now let’s compare all of them. What makes Dogpile different?

1. Dogpile has a phrase of “The best search engine” on it’s homepage.

Compare with the others search engine, none of them have even one word of those words on that phrase.

2. Dogpile has this data on their meta tags

This is the most important things. you have to set your meta description so you will have the maximum result for your SEO Implementation.

Dogpile looks pretty smart, they insert each of the keyword into their meta tags, this is pretty ironic for Google isn’t it? since Google always teach us to have a good code while they don’t even have meta tags on their own.

Conclusion:
Want to have a good position on search engine? Want to be the king of your targeted keywords? set the right data for your meta tags.
